A Tribute to the People of North Attleboro

I want to extend my sincere appreciation to my campaign committee and all the voters of North Attleboro who supported my efforts to serve you on the Board of Selectman. I know you share in my disappointment in the April 4th election results but I am buoyed by the knowledge that I have your admiration and humbled by your efforts on behalf of my campaign.

Whether you simply took the time from work and family commitments to brave the monsoon rains to get to the polls and “Make Your Mark” or stood in that wet deluge on election day and waved and held campaign placards. Whether you cared for children of my supporters so that their parents were freed up to support the campaign or cooked meatballs, chicken soup, sausages and chili home-made cookies and carrot cake. Whether you made calls and posted messages on social media, tirelessly researched and developed the call list or planned designed and administered my web page, Facebook and all other social media outlets to spread the good word. Whether you planned and attended meet and greet events or cheered at the pre-election rally or took photos to memorialize the dedication of all involved or financially helped support my message or, best of all simply offered hugs and “we love you” along the way. All of this and so much more causes me great pause in the knowledge that my efforts to serve our community of North Attleboro were not in vain.

I remain concerned about the recent leadership history of our Town and I am hoping that my campaign helped send the message that good leadership is sorely needed. I hope my campaign and all of you who supported it will serve to motivate the newly formed Board to set priorities, listen to the desires of the voters and fulfill the promise of a better future.   I remain committed to the future of our Town and I am sure you are too. Thank you.
